on 10/14/23, officers with the Des Moines police department responded to a call from a nurse at the hospital claiming that a patient punched him in the face because her food was cold and was making fun of him based on his sexuality.
After gathering all the necessary information, the officer left and different officers came back days later to secure the suspect after she had been cleared from the hospital.
